A Changing Food Economy Needs a Smarter Cold Chain.
Uttar Pradesh is one of India’s largest agricultural economies and has substantial cold-storage capacity. Yet much of the traditional cold-storage ecosystem has historically been oriented towards conventional and single-commodity storage.
As agriculture, food processing and temperature-sensitive supply chains become more sophisticated, the need is evolving from simply providing cold space to providing flexible, technology-led preservation infrastructure capable of supporting different products, temperature regimes and storage requirements.
